Successful! Remote! Hybrid! Leadership!

This is not just another leadership programme. At offstandards, we believe that there are almost unlimited ways to lead an organisation in this world. And every company can decide for itself how it wants to work most effectively.

Due to the current situation, we cannot overlook the need to rethink our organisational habits and the increased need for remote leadership. Therefore, there is a 'once in a lifetime opportunity' to shape the future of collaboration. While some organisations maintain a 'no remote' state (due to a leadership mandate or the nature of the business), others make their choice from a wide range, including 'remote time', 'hybrid-remote' and 'all-remote'. (Learn more about this in GitLab's Remote Playbook, which you can get here ebook-remote-playbook.pdf (gitlab.com) )

Coming back to the topic of leadership, it is obvious that we want to learn how to adapt to these opportunities, how to contribute to the future of work, how to manage teams, how to develop our culture and still become a more effective leader. Remote leadership is successful when you lead by results - not by hours. It needs goals and track - rather than command and control. Trust and transparency are at the core of the culture. It won't work by replicating the office. But remote teams need remote structures and a sense of situational communication to be effective and successful.

With the offstandards Remote/Hybrid Leadership Programme you can expect to learn from companies that already practice 'all-remote' (GitLab) or 'remote-first' (Jimdoo) and focus on the specifics of remote and hybrid leadership. You will reflect on your own mindset, which is essential! You will see that there are solutions to challenges in communication and collaboration in the digital age. Are you a newcomer? This is perfect for you!

All in a series of six 2-hour nuggets with added fun for home (home work), inspiration and coaching. This training programme is based on 'Work together anywhere' a book by Lisette Sutherland and K. Janene-Nelson, the endless GitLab online resources, the experiences of AUTOMATTIC founder Mullenweg and many other sources such as podcasts and press releases.
